I'm on day 3. Here's what the past two days looked like, nutrition-wise:
Day 1...Uh...it's a place to start.
Calories: 1,650
Protein (74g) - 18%
Carbs (124g, 111g net) - 30%
Fat (96g) - 52%
Day 2
Calories: 1,842
Protein (98g) - 21%
Carbs (99g, 63g net) - 22%
Fat (118g) - 57%
So depending how you define "low carb," I either hit it yesterday or I'm on the right track. Definitely not a ketogenic diet yet. I also ate late both nights, which is something that must stop. And then I slept poorly (see late-night eating, and add a toddler to the mix.)
So given my non-ideal eating, and the fact that I generally don't lose if I'm eating more than 1500-1600 calories in a day, do I attribute these pounds to Keto//OS? I guess we'll have to see, but I'm more optimistic than I expected to be.
Tonight features dinner out with the fam and doing the pumpkin patch thing, but I've already planned on a carnitas salad with guacamole at Chipotle. One day I'm going to get the tshirt that says "I know guacamole is extra." It cracks me up, because I can't imagine not eating guac! It's one of the true joys of low carb eating. Guac and bacon. Mmm.
